Shipping & Returns


Inkjetmetal.com/Booksmart Studio offers for free Fed Ex Ground shipping for orders over $400, is only for addresses located within the Contiguous United States. Free shipping is not available for Alaska or Hawaii. We ship Internationally with either Fed Ex or USPS, the buyer pays for all duties/tariffs and the shipping cost.

Delivery Time

Delivery Times are based upon the shipping option you choose and the amount of time needed to process and ship the order from our location. Generally all orders received are shipped within 24 hours (excluding weekends) of being received.

Calculating Cost

Shipping and handling costs for orders from Booksmart Studio depend upon the shipping methods and options you choose. Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based as well as size based (oversized items). To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound. To calculate the cost of shipping, place your item(s) in the Shopping Cart. From the Cart, you can see what the estimated shipping cost will be. It shows the total estimated cost of shipping and handling of your entire order at the bottom of the page.


Returns Policy

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a refund minus the original shipping cost. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).


Shipping charges will not be refunded! If your order qualified initially for free Fed Ex Ground shipping, the original shipping cost to Booksmart Studio will be deducted from your refund. All returned items will incur a $25 restocking fee.

Please note that orders over $500 will incur a 15% restocking fee which will be subtracted from the refund. 


You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.




Follow these directions to return by mail:

Include the packing list with your product and indicate on it the reason for the return. We recommend you return items via UPS or insured parcel post for proof of delivery. We also recommend that you reuse the original shipping carton and packing materials. You are responsible for return shipping and insurance charges. Original shipping and handling charges are not refundable.
